Fentanyl reveres the pro-apoptotic effect of chemotherapeutic drugs in ovarian cancer cells. The combination of fentanyl (400 nM) with cisplatin (5 µM) or paclitaxel (100 nM) induced significantly less apoptosis than cisplatin or paclitaxel alone in SK-OV-3 (A), TOV-21G (B) and SW626 (C) cells. *, P < 0.01, compared to cisplatin or paclitaxel
