  1. The results are expressed as mean ± SD. Haemodynamic variables were recorded before induction of general anaesthesia (baseline), immediately before tracheal intubation (Tind), immediately after tracheal intubation (T0), and every minute for 5 min following tracheal intubation (T1-T5)
