  2. Baseline characteristics of a recent cohort of 500 patients that were admitted to the thoracic ICU, to provide an impression of the expected patient population in the GRIP-COMPASS trial. The incidence of AFF was observed in a subgroup of 150 consecutive cardiac surgery patients.
