Endothelial damage biomarkers differences between sevoflurane and propofol groups. Endothelial damage was observed as an increase in the syndecan-1 concentration in the sevoflurane group. The difference was significant from baseline values at 90 min after tourniquet release (Wilcoxon test, p < 0.01). There was no difference between sevoflurane and propofol groups
