Comparison with MCAO group showed that the cerebral infarct volume was significantly smaller in 1.3 MAC sevoflurane preconditioning 24 h group. In 1.0 MAC sevoflurane preconditioning 24 h group, the cerebral infarct volume was significantly smaller than the MCAO group. There was no statistical difference between others groups and the MCAO group. Values are presented as mean ± SD, n = 5, *p < 0.05, vs. MCAO group
