  1. The primary outcome was tested for non-inferiority and expressed as numbers (%) and confidence intervals for the difference of percentages. The non-inferiority margin delta was set at 10%. Non-inferiority was met since the lower limit of a 2-sided 95% confidence interval is less than 10%. Secondary outcomes were expressed as means ± SD and analyzed using Student t test
