This figure shows the incidence of serious adverse events among subgroups according to delta lactate levels after cardiopulmonary bypass. The incidence of serious adverse events was significantly differed among subgroups (p = 0.002) and increased when delta lactate level was >2 mmol/L in compared with those with >0 mmol/L.
