Receiver-operating characteristic (ROC) curve depicting the cardiac index (CI) percent change (%) or CI after early goal-directed therapy (EGDT) to predict good renal outcome. The area under ROC curves were 0.739(P = 0.012) of CI percent change to predict non-poor renal outcome. A cutoff value of 10% determined by Youden index would provide a sensitivity of 89% and a specificity of 75%. The area under ROC curves were 0.556(P = 0.115) of CI after EGDT to predict non-poor renal outcome. A cutoff value of 3.0 L/min/m2 determined by Youden index would provide a sensitivity of 56% and a specificity of 75%.
