  1. Effect of Surgeon and Anaesthetist on outcomes of interest. The surgeon had an influence on the rate of transfusion of red blood cells, fresh frozen plasma and all blood products, the rate of return to theatre for bleeding and the rate of intensive care stay longer than one day. The anaesthetist had an influence on the rate of tranexamic acid administration, the rate of transfusion of red blood cells and all blood products and the rate of intensive care stay longer than one day. (TA – Tranexamic acid, RBC – red blood cells, FFP – fresh frozen plasma, ICU – intensive care unit, Range – proportion of patients among various surgeons and anaesthetists) (* = p value < 0.05, statistically significant)
