The gels in the control and propofol groups have been enlarged to show the low expression of phospho-keratin 18 (A) and the high expression of phospho-gelsolin (C) and phospho-apolipoprotein E (E) in the propofol group. The corresponding gray intensity analysis of the 2D results (B, D, F). The densitometric analysis of each protein was calculated from 6 different gels using PDQuest software. Each bar represents the mean ± SD (*P < 0.05, compared with the control group).
